TIVAR® 88 is a dark blue, shiny and slippery plastic specifically developed to facilitate the unloading of bulk materials. It’s an ideal solution for demanding applications, as it’s highly resistant to wear, impacts and corrosion.
TIVAR® 88 also possesses a very low coefficient of friction, which facilitates conveyance, while reducing vibrations and, consequently, noise generated by transportation.

Applications of TIVAR® 88

CASE STUDY #1 : TIVAR® 88 to reduce the frequency of maintenance

Problem	Solution	Benefits
The existing hopper was quickly wearing out, hindering productivity. The Hopper had to be replaced immediately upon breakage.	The original liner was replaced with one made of TIVAR® 88, providing a surface with superior wear resistance and improving the flow of raw material.	By improving the flow of raw material, the TIVAR® 88 liner increased production speed while reducing maintenance time.

CASE STUDY #2 : TIVAR® 88 for bulk handling

The flow of bulk material travelling on conveyors generated high noise levels.	Conveyor surfaces were fitted with TIVAR® 88 liners to absorb impacts.
